Pluot Eton Mess

Eton Mess was first developed at Eton College in the 1930s and has various stories surrounding the circumstances of its creation. Originally, it was a mixture of strawberries or bananas with ice cream or whipped cream served in their "sock shop" (aka 'tuck shop,' 'snack shop,' etc. depending on your country of origin). It soon involved the addition of meringue and has evolved into a typical English summer dessert and is traditionally comprised of strawberries, cream, and meringue.
