Fruit Butter

So this isn't your traditional fruit butter - if you're looking for that, check out our Apple Pear Butter recipe. This is a delicious blend of butter and fruit, firmed up so you can spread it on pancakes, biscuits, toast, or just about anything you'd slather with butter and jam.

Ingredients
1 cup butter, at room temperature
1 piece of stone fruit that has gone soft - I used a yellow peach for mine.

Directions
Peel the fruit you chose, discard the skin and pit.

In a mixing bowl, mash together the softened butter and fruit.

Roll out a piece of parchment paper and place the mixed butter along the center of it, about 2 inches thick and 6-8 inches long. Fold paper over and roll to form a tube. Twist ends to seal.

Place in fridge for several hours, until firm.

To serve, slice and spread on toast, pancakes, or whatever you'd like!
