1 Apple Pear, peeled & sliced
Wheat or Nut bread
1/2 Sweet yellow onion, thinly sliced
Optional: Swiss, Provolone, or Feta cheese
Over medium-low heat, saute the sliced onion until soft and translucent. Add in 1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar and saute to coat. Let cool.
Remove the crust from the bread. Slice remaining square into two rectangles.
If you are using cheese, layer this on first. Then add on sliced turkey, a thin layer of the sauteed onion, a slice of Apple Pear, and top with arugula.
