Makes 2 sandwiches per slice of bread
8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
½ cup pecans, chopped
½ tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 Apple Pears
1 lb. loaf of cinnamon swirl raisin bread
In a mixer, beat vanilla and nutmeg into the cream cheese, then add in the chopped pecans. Stir until mixed evenly throughout - you may need to scrape down the sides to do this. Chill.
Remove crusts from the raisin bread.
Slice the Apple Pears into ⅓-½ inch slices (Quick slice tip: Place Apple Pear stem up on cutting board. Slice off the opposites sides along the core then turn and slice off remaining two sides. Slice these 4 pieces into your desired thickness).
Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese spread on each slice of bread, then top each with two Apple Pears slices. Slice on the diagonal.
